These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CD Academy Basketball website and your registration of one or more players in our programs. By creating an account, registering a player, or otherwise using this site, you ("you", the parent, guardian, or adult player) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not register or use the site.

How we use player information

We collect and use player and guardian information for two purposes only:

  • Communication — reaching you and your player about practices, games, tournaments, schedule changes, registration, payments, and other program matters.
  • Classification — placing each player in the correct season, age category, team, and roster.

We do not use this information for any other purpose.

We never sell or share your data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share player or guardian personal information with any third party for any reason, including marketing. Information is accessible only to CD Academy administrators and coaches who need it to run our programs. The limited service providers that help us operate (for example, our hosting, database, and email providers) process data solely on our instructions and never for their own purposes.

Consent to use of player likeness

By registering a player and using this site, you grant CD Academy permission to photograph and film your player during academy activities, and to use that player's name, image, likeness, and video:

  • on our website (for example, team pages, schedules, rosters, and results), and
  • in promotional materials that showcase the academy, such as social media posts, flyers, and recruitment or event announcements.

This use is always non-commercial and in the context of promoting CD Academy and its programs. We never sell these images. If you would prefer your player's name or likeness not appear publicly, contact us at any time and we will honour your request — see the Privacy Policy for how to reach us.

Registration and approval

Submitting a registration does not guarantee a spot. Each registration is reviewed and must be approved by an administrator before a player is placed on a team. You are responsible for keeping your contact and player information accurate and up to date.

Acceptance

You must accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy each time you complete a registration. Your acceptance is recorded with the date and version of the Terms in effect at that time. We may update these Terms; the current version always governs new registrations.
